This 6-Day Morocco Desert Tour from Casablanca offers a cultural and diverse journey through some of the Country's most famous sites. Your driver will welcome you at Casablanca airport or hotel, then travel north to the fairytale Blue City of Chefchaouen, stopping for some very nice views along the way. Moving on, you will then depart for the imperial cities of Volubilis, Meknes, and Fes, where you can see ancient Roman ruins, impressive city gates, and bustling medinas filled with history and culture.
You will have a full day to explore the spiritual city of Fes, where you will get lost in the medina and visit places like Al-Qarawiyyin University and the famous Tanneries. Afterward, you will go into nature and experience the Middle Atlas. Here you will visit cedar forests that host Barbary macaques, and continue the journey into the Merzouga Desert. You will then have an unforgettable camel ride to Erg Chebbi Dunes in Merzouga, where you will spend the night in the desert camp under the stars.
On the way back to Marrakech, you will see the exceptional Todra and Dades gorges, experience the Rose Valley, and get an amazing chance to explore the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Aït Benhaddou Kasbah, known for its incredible clay architecture and film appearances, before traversing the High Atlas mountains via the Tizi n'Tichka pass to Marrakech to complete your adventurous and multifaceted experience of Morocco.

After meeting you at your hotel or the airport in Casablanca, we will start our Casablanca Desert trip via Chefchaouen. Driving first to Chefchaouen, the famous Blue City of Morocco.
On our way, we will pass through many beautiful towns, making several stops along the way. Then, we will arrive in Chefchaouen, where you will relax and enjoy your time. Overnight in a riad inside the Medina.
In the morning, you will leave your riad in Chefchaouen and drive towards Fes. On the way, we will pass by Ouazzane and then stop at Volubilis (UNESCO World Heritage Site), where you can see impressive mosaics, pillars, and walls from the 3rd century BC.
Next, continue to Meknes, the Ismaili capital, where you will visit the Bab Mansour Gate, the Sahrij Souani Granary, and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. Finally, we will arrive in Fes, where your driver will drop you off at your riad for overnight.
This day is dedicated to exploring Fes, Morocco’s spiritual city. Most of the day will be spent inside the Old Medina, a labyrinth of alleys and bustling souks.
Highlights include the Royal Palace Gates, the Jewish Quarter (Mellah), Al-Qarawiyyin University (the oldest in the world), and the vibrant Chouara Tannery. You will also explore traditional artisanal squares such as Seffarine and Attarine.
After lunch in a traditional restaurant near Bab Boujloud, enjoy a panoramic view of the whole Medina before returning to your riad for overnight.
After breakfast, we leave Fes towards the Sahara Desert. Our journey takes us through the Middle Atlas Mountains, starting with a stop in Ifrane, known as “Little Switzerland”.
Next, visit the cedar forest of Azrou, home to the wild Barbary macaque monkeys. Then, continue south to Midelt for lunch. Passing through the Ziz Valley, you’ll enjoy panoramic views before reaching Errachidia, Erfoud, and Rissani.
Finally, arrive in Merzouga. After a welcome tea, ride your camel into the dunes of Erg Chebbi to watch the sunset. Overnight in a desert camp with dinner, music, and drumming under the stars.
Wake up early to catch the sunrise over the Sahara dunes. After breakfast, we return by camel to Merzouga and continue driving to Todra Gorge, a spectacular canyon with towering cliffs.
After exploring Todra, we continue to the Dades Valley, famous for its rock formations known as “Monkey Toes” and its fortified kasbahs. Overnight in a riad in the valley.
After breakfast, we drive through the Rose Valley and stop at Kalaat Mgouna, famous for its rose products. Then, continue to Ait Benhaddou Kasbah (UNESCO site), where movies like Gladiator were filmed.
Crossing the Tizi n’Tichka Pass in the High Atlas Mountains, we make scenic stops at Berber villages before arriving in Marrakech in the late afternoon. Transfer to your accommodation.
