This tour is perfect for any traveler who wants to explore the other side of Merzouga and find the authentic soul of the bustling desert town.
You will be collected from your hotel or riad within the Merzouga vicinity. The adventure begins at Hassi Labied Oasis and allows you to see ancient irrigation canals and towns, as well as the chemicals used for agriculture that support life in a desert environment.
You will then proceed to Dayet Srij Lake, home to migratory birds, including flamingos (when water is present). The lake view, dunes, and mountains are picturesque!
You will then continue to Khamlia village to meet local musicians to hear traditional Gnawa music. These local musicians are truly the descendants of the African tribes brought to Morocco centuries ago.

Lastly, you will visit a nomadic Berber family still living in traditional tents in the Sahara. You will drink mint tea and learn about their ifesc style and the fascinating simplicity of it, before returning to your accommodation in Merzouga.
