Pick up from your accommodation in Marrakech. Travel across the High Atlas Mountains via Tizi n'Tichka Pass. Visit Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Continue past Skoura Oasis to visit Amridil Kasbah. Arrive in Boumalen Dades by late afternoon.
After breakfast, travel through the valley to see "monkey toes" rock formations. Visit Todra Gorges, the highest and narrowest in Morocco. Drive to Merzouga for an overnight stay in a hotel or riad.
Start with Gnawa music at Khamliya. Visit Dayet Srij salt lake and the souk of Rissani. In the afternoon, start your guided camel ride across Erg Chebbi for sunset. Overnight at a Berber luxury camp with dinner included.
