The 7-day trip from Tangier begins with a visit to the port city of Tangier. Then, it goes to Blue Street and the Roman ruins of Chefchaouen. After that, it visits the cultural capital of Morocco, Fes.

This is a 7-day tour of Morocco. It starts in Tangier. You will ride camels through the hills of Merzouga and spend the night in a desert camp under a starry sky. Day 1: Tangier - Chefchaouen

On the first day of our 7-day tour from Tangier to Marrakech. We will pick you up from the airport/port. Then, we will go to Chefchaouen via the Rif Mountains and Tetouan. We'll enjoy the beautiful views of the scenery and small villages. Generally, the blue city is a small town with 43,000 inhabitants. It is a tourist photography destination. Its streets are narrow. They have white and blue houses. Its mountain setting is beautiful. These things make it unique. Thus, you have a free afternoon to explore it. First, you will discover the Ras El Ma waterfalls and the area around the city. Then, you will have free time to visit the main square and the Kasbah in the town's center.

Day 2: Chefchaouen - Volubilis - Fes

After breakfast in your riad/hotel, we will leave the blue city towards the cultural city, Fes. There are two attractions on the way: Volubilis and Meknes. will drive through green hills, open vast lands, and wheat fields. We will stop in Volubilis, the best-preserved Roman ruins in Morocco. A tour will take you inside the Roman site. It will show you the myths of Rome, with its stunning mosaics and streets. You will see columns and arches. After that, we will head to Meknes, a 17th-century city, where we will stop for lunch. Then, we will visit the visited sites, including Bab Mansour, El Hadim Square, and the granary. After the visit to Meknes, we will shift our way to Fes. Overnight in an authentic riad in the middle of the Medina.

Day 3: Fes guided tour

On this day, you will have a guided tour at 9:30 am in the Medina of Fes. We will start the car tour by visiting the Royal Palace. We will see its stunning 7 bronze gates. Then, we will walk through the Jewish Quarter. After that, we will go to the southern tower and the 16th-century fortress. It has a panoramic view of the medieval city. Afterward, we will visit a pottery cooperative. It will teach you about the making of the Moroccan mosaic “Zellij” and the blue pottery of Fez. Later on, we will start, as we will drop you off with the local guide to discover the old city of Morocco. You will travel back to the medieval city. People there still work in small, narrow streets. The streets have many tiny stalls for traditional crafts and donkeys. You will feel no sense of direction or time for a while. The Medina of Fez is rich in Islamic monuments. It has fascinating old mosques, the University of El-Karaouiyine, and its libraries. All these elements made Fez the spiritual and cultural capital of Morocco. Overnight in a riad in the medina.

Day 4: Fes - Ifrane - Midlle atlas mountains - Ziz Gorges - Erfoud - Merzouga

The Sahara desert is the main highlight of this tour. Today, our journey will start by driving across the middle and high Atlas mountains. We will drive to the Sahara desert. But, there are many to see and pass through. First, we will stop in Ifran for a break. This is also a chance to see the status of the Atlas lions. Artists have carved them to represent the extinction of the lions in the nearby Atlas forest. Then, we will stop at the cedar forest to view wild monkeys climbing trees. Later on, we will keep driving through the middle atlas until Midelt. After lunch, we will pass through Tizi N'Talghamt. Then, we'll stop for a break and take some photos in Ziz Valley. It's the start of palm groves and dates. Erfoud is the Fossil Capital of Morocco. So, you will have a chance to visit a factory where they make beautiful things from marble. And right after that, we drive to Erg Chebbi time for a cup of tea and packing for desert camp. Meet up with Camels for a camel ride and head to the dunes to watch the sunset. Overnight in a luxury desert camp.

Day 5: Merzouga - Rissani - Todgha Gorges - Dades Valley

Early in the morning, wake up for sunrise photography and breakfast. Then, ride camels back to the town. After that, we head to Tinjdad. We pull over to see the old underground irrigation "canals." Lunch in Todra Valley and arrive at the spectacular gorges 300 m high to enjoy a little walk near the river Todra. Thereafter, we will drive for over an hour and a half to Dades Valley. Overnight in a local hotel.

Day 6: Dades Valley - Skoura- Ait Benhaddou Kasbah - Marrakech

After breakfast in Dades Valley, Today, we will drive from Dades Valley to Marrakech. We will go through Rose Valley, Skoura palm groves, and Ouarzazate. We will discover the road of a thousand Kasbahs. We stop in Warzazate to explore the studio cinema. Then, our second stop is Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, a UNESCO world heritage site. We will stop there for lunch and to visit this world heritage site in Morocco. Also, filmmakers shot many movies there, such as Lawrence of Arabia and Gladiator. After lunch, we will go to Marrakech. We will pass through Berber villages in the High Atlas Mountains.

Day 7: Marrakech sightseeing tour

The last city we will explore during this trip is Marrakech, also called the Red City. So, in the morning, a local guide will join you. You will visit the main sights. They include the Bahia Palace, the Saadian tombs, the Kotobia mosque, and the Jamaa El Fna square. After that, he will take you for a walk in the medina. You will wander through its colorful and real market. Thereafter, we will head to the Majorelle Gardens. The Majorelle Garden is a 2.5-acre botanical garden. It is also an artist's landscape garden in Marrakech, Morocco. The French artist Jacques Majorelle created it. He worked on it for almost forty years.
