3 Days from Fes to Merzouga desert

We had a great 3-days from Fes to Merzouga (for a night in the desert) ending up in Fes. Making arrangements with Ibrahim — from initial email inquiry to booking — was a breeze, and he answered all our naive questions as first-time travelers to Morocco. Our guide Youssef was friendly, charming, and took care of our every need while sharing his firsthand experiences as the child of Berber nomads. The accommodations and meals along the way were all pleasant surprises. Highly recommended!

Best Marrakech desert tour of our lives!!!

I can’t imagine seeing Morocco any other way. Friends told me they didn’t really “get” Morocco because they only went to Marrakesh or Fes. They truly missed out on the most incredible country I’ve ever visited, thanks to this tour. also must admit I’ve never been much of a bus-tour person. I usually prefer to rent a car and drive myself around, but I can’t emphasize this enough: do not miss this tour! It gives you all the freedom with the experience of traveling with a local. You cover so much of the country in just a few days. Mohamed was our guide (Request him! He was amazing!). We traveled from Fes to Merzouga, where you travel by camels through the Sahara to spend a night in legitimately the nicest tents/camp I’ve ever seen. Mohamed was full of fun facts and great insight into what it’s like to grow up in the desert. The night was filled with amazing food and a campfire with traditional Berber music (no phones, no technology: just drums, laughter, and the most amazing stars!) The next day we went to Imilchil via Tinghir and the Todgha Gorge. We stayed the night in TodraGorge where we stayed at a drop-dead gorgeous hotel (we did the standard accommodation). We made a lot of stops along the route (at a fossil factory, the Hollywood of Morocco, the oldest/largest Kasbah in Morocco, and a forest to see wild monkeys…) but the highlight was the car ride itself. Mohamed played Moroccan/Berber music for us and the views were breathtaking. Morocco has a reputation for its souks and markets in the cities, but the real treasure is the stunning nature which you can only see on a tour like this.

3 day 2 night Marrakech to Fes Tour

For anyone looking to spend a few days exploring Morocco, I can't highly recommend Morocco Camel Trekking enough. We had limited time in Morocco yet despite that, I feel we were able to explore the country through this 3 day tour. The company is professional, on time with prompt responses, and extremely comfortable. The car was comfortable (if not the camel ride) the food was good and the places we stayed were great. The highlight of the trip was of course the Sahara desert stay - nothing quite prepares you for the sight of the dunes. It's a breathtaking experience. Thank you to our guide Idir who looked after us so well for our entire tour itinerary. He was knowledgeable about each area we visited and showed great pride in Morocco. Thanks, Morocco Camel Trekking!!

3 days tour-Fes to Merzouga Sahara Desert

Fantastic! This is truly a must-do experience. Our guides Aziz and Mohamed were phenomenal. Our private tour from Fes to Merzouga allowed us to stop and visit rug and argon cooperatives, a local fossil site, and truly learn about the Arab and Berber cultures. The landscape was incredible and the camel trekking and night in the Erg Chebbi desert were extraordinary. I can't say enough good things about our guides and tour, except we'll be back again next year for a longer Morocco tour.

Great 3 days desert tour!

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful trip through the Moroccan countryside with our kind, helpful, and good-spirited guide, Ibrahim. This tour features all the highlights of the Atlas Mountains and Sahara desert - wonderful mountainous views, delicious traditional tajine dishes, and of course a camel ride into the Sahara with a stunning view of the sunset and sunrise. Our guide even invited us to his home to have a Berber pizza for lunch, cooked to perfection by his sister. Best of all, this trip provided the human connection of getting to know the Berber (Amazigh) people and their culture. I would highly recommend this trip and guide. We felt safe and in good hands the entire way.

Merzouga desert tour from Fes 3 day

My husband and I just finished the tour from Fes to Merzouga (overnight in Tinghir and the Merzouga desert camp). We had an amazing time. A big shout out to Ibrahim for making the 3 days pass by like a breeze despite all the driving! It felt like we were traveling with a friend more than a guide! Thanks for an awesome experience!! :)
