First Day 1: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Atlas mountains- Midelt – Erfoud – Merzouga
This 2 days desert tour from Fes to Merzouga will start from your riad at 8 am. We will go to the Sahara desert in Merzouga. We will cross the Middle Atlas Mountains.
Our first stop is Ifran. It’s known as the Little Moroccan Switzerland, because of its architecture. Then another stop at the cedar forest to see the wild apes.
Also, we will cross the Atlas Mountains to reach the famous and largest valley in Morocco. In Ziz Valley we will have a break before we head to Erfoud, the city of dates and Fossils.
After that, we continue our way to the Merzouga desert. It is where we will ride the camel for almost 90 mins and spend the night in a luxury desert camp. Thus, you will enjoy a delicious dinner and listen to the local Berber music.
Day 2 Erg Chebbi – Merzouga – Ziz Valley – Ifrane – Fes
On the last day of the 2 days tour from Fes to Merzouga, we recommend you wake up early morning to watch the sunrise. After breakfast and showering, you ride the camels back to the hotel.
