We will pick you up from the airport and take you to the hotel. Then we will visit the charming Medina of Marrakech with an expert guide. We will visit the Bahia Palace, the Saadian tombs, and the Mellah. After lunch, we will visit the famous Jemaa El Fna Square. the Koutoubia Mosque, Majorelle Garden, and the Souks.
Today, our tour starts with a great breakfast. Today, our journey takes you across the breathtaking High Atlas Mountains to Dades Valley. We’ll make many stops to take in the gorgeous scenery. We’ll visit Ait Ben Haddou’s famous Kasbah, a Unesco world heritage site. Then we’ll travel to Ouarzazate, Africa’s Hollywood. Finally, drive through the road to Thousand Kasbah, the Skoura palm grove, and the Rose Valley. Then, we’ll arrive at our overnight stay in the Dades Valley.
The third day of this tour will begin with a breakfast at your hotel. Then, you’ll go on a scenic drive through the stunning Dades Valley. Along the journey, you’ll see the incredible Monkey Fingers rock formation. Then, we’ll go southeast to Tinghir. We’ll stop to see the beautiful gorges and wander under the canyons. We’ll continue our drive to Erfoud, known for its fossils and minerals. Then, we’ll arrive in Merzouga, where you will ride a camel to the campsite and spend a fantastic night under the starry sky. Enjoy food and music around the campfire as you take in the splendor of the desert.
Your camel guide will wake you early. You will see a breathtaking sunrise over the vast Erg Chebi sand dunes. Then, you will have a delicious breakfast at the camp. Afterward, we will ride camels back to Merzouga, where our driver will wait to take us to Fes. Our first stop will be Erfoud, where we will visit a fascinating fossil museum. Then, we will head north and stop at Ziz Valley for a panoramic view. Our next stop will be in Midelt, where we will enjoy a delicious lunch. We will continue through the Middle Atlas Mountains. We will stop in Azrou to visit the cedar forest, where you can see wild Barbary monkeys. Finally, we will arrive in Fes in the late afternoon. We will stay overnight in Medina.
Today, after a tasty breakfast, we will have a full day to explore Fes’s old Medina with a knowledgeable guide. Our schedule includes stops at prominent sites. These include the Blue Gate, Bab Boujloud, the Royal Palace, and the Jewish Quarter. We will also visit the Chouara Tannery, Bou Inania Madrasa, and ceramic stores (Zellij). After a day of exploring, we’ll retire to our cozy riad for the night.
After a delicious breakfast, we will leave Fes and go to Meknes, another imperial city. Our first visits will be to the iconic Bab Mansour Gate, the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, and Lahdim Square. Next, we will go to the Roman ruins of Volubilis. There, we will learn about ancient life. We will also see the huge columns and lovely mosaics. As we travel north, we will pass through lovely scenery. It is rich with wildflowers and rolling farms. Then, we will reach the craggy Rif Mountains and the blue medina of Chefchaouen. We’ll spend the night in a beautiful riad, complete with breakfast. We recommend having dinner at the atmospheric Place Outa El Hamam Square.
You will have morning free time on the final day of your Marrakech desert tour. You can explore the blue city on your own. Stroll through its hidden streets and marvel at the city’s famous blue doors. Remember to visit the fun artisan shops. You can get last-minute gifts and take great photos. After lunch, we’ll head north to Tangier, where the end of our excursion will be dropped off at your accommodation or port.
