On our hot air ballooning in Marrakech, you’ll witness landscapes an hour’s drive from the famous Jemaa El Fna Square. This allows you to observe the contrast between Morocco’s urban areas.
We’ll pick you up early from your Marrakech hotel to start your day. Transport you to the balloon launch site, which takes 45 minutes. There, you’ll see our launch team. They are preparing for liftoff and giving a safety briefing.
During your 1 hour flight, you’ll soar above a village and its scenic surroundings. Depending on the wind, you’ll cover 10 to 15 miles (20 to 30 km).
Afterward, take a camel ride through the Agafay Desert. Immerse yourself in culture. Then, have Moroccan tea and fresh bread at a Berber home. Finally, we will arrange for transportation back to your Marrakech hotel.

A beautiful, stunning landscape, but expensive
The hot air balloon ride was an incredible experience. The views were stunning, and the staff was fantastic, making us feel safe and comfortable. The ride over the desert at sunrise was peaceful, and we got some amazing photos. However, I have to admit that the price is quite high. While it was worth it for the memories, it might not fit everyone’s budget. Still, I’d say it’s worth considering a unique adventure in Marrakech.
A Magical Sunrise Over the Moroccan Desert
What an amazing way to start the day! The team picked us up early in the morning and drove us to the launch site, where they set up the balloon. Watching the sunrise over the Agafay desert while floating high above the ground was surreal. The whole experience was smooth and relaxing, and the pilot was very knowledgeable, giving us a wonderful panoramic view of the area. The breakfast afterward was delicious and a wonderful way to round off the morning. I would do it again!
