Day 1: Tangier – Chefchaouen
Our guide will pick you up on the first day of a 5-day tour from Tangier to Marrakech. Then you’ll travel to Chefchaouen through the Rif mountains. You’ll enjoy the stunning villages and beautiful views. People call Chefchaouen the “blue pearl” or the Instagrammable photography destination.
We will check into the hotel. Then, we will start touring the Medina with its blue and whitewashed streets. We will enjoy the blue walls, doors, and windows. In Chefchaouen Medina, you can take amazing photos from every corner.
Thereafter, we will visit the ancient Kasbah in the heart of the Medina, drink a cup of mint tea in Outa Hammam Plaza, and walk to the famous Ras El Ma waterfall.
Later, you will have free time to taste a delicious meal. We highly recommend dinner at the square and an overnight stay in a riad.
Day 2: Chefchaouen: Half-day Fes sightseeing
On the second day, we will continue toward the cultural city of Fes. When we arrive in Fes, a local guide will go with you to explore the first imperial city. So we will start our Fes tour guide by visiting the Royal Palace. Then, we’ll walk through the Jewish Quarter.
We will also drive to the Southern Tower to view Medina in its entirety and visit the ceramic poetry.
Moreover, you will walk inside the Medina, where you will discover historical monuments, including the famous Al Qaraouin University and the Tannery. Overnight in a riad/hotel.
Day 3: Fes, Ifrane, Midelt, Ziz Gorges, Erfoud and Merzouga
After breakfast in your riad, the journey to the Sahara Desert starts. You will stop at Ifran for a break to visit the carved status of a lion. Then, we continue our way to Azrou and stop at the cedar forest to see the apes. We will continue to Midelt for lunch.
After that, we will travel through the Tizi N’Talghamt pass to Errachidia city. Our next stop is Ziz Valley.
The tour will continue to the Sahara desert via Erfoud, which is famous for fossils and dates. In Merzouga, the beautiful lands of the Sahara desert, locals will welcome you with a mint tea. After that, you start a great adventure. It includes camel trekking across the golden-colored dunes to the desert camp.
On the way, stop to take amazing and memorable sunset photos. Dinner and overnight will be at a camp. Listen to traditional live music around the fire.
Day 4: Merzouga Desert, Rissani, Todra Gorge, and Dades Valley
You will start this amazing day by waking up early to watch the sunrise. After breakfast and a shower, return by camel or 4×4 to Merzouga village. Afterward, we will continue our 5-day trip from Tangier to Marrakech. We will visit the local market in Rissani.
We will walk around this famous, traditional, and most significant market in the area. Later, we travel to Tinghir. We can stop at the Tafilalt Oasis to see the ancient irrigation system.

Day 5: Dades Valley, Ouarzazate, Ait Benhaddou Kasbah and Marrakech

Amazing 4 day desert tour
My brother and I did the 4-day Marrakech to Fes with two nights in Merzouga at the camp. Was an incredible time. Aziz was a great driver, really funny, and gave great local knowledge of the country and the Berber culture. He was very flexible and let us pick which stops along the way we wanted to go and let us drive the pace of the stops. Ibrahim was communicative before when we booked online about what was included and the very fair price. We asked around and it was a great deal for what’s included.
