  • Camel Treks with 2 nights in the Sahara Desert

Immerse yourself in the lifestyle, culture and magic of this serene environment. With every breath of wind, the traces of man are erased and the silence breathes new hope into your world as the cobwebs of daily life are swept along with the grains of sand.

This trip will begin in the evening, we organise the camel ride for the night in the desert from a hotel near the sand dunes. Our camels will be packed with foods, blankets and everything required for our trip. The trek with the camels will take around 1.30 hrs.

We will spend the night in an equipped camp with drum music in the middle of the dunes. This is a great opportunity to take really incredible photographs of the sunset and sunrise; when we arrive at the camp we walk to the high dunes to see the sunset. It will be great night when the sky is clear and abundant stars sparkle and shine with intensity. During this first night, we will have dinner around a campfire, and we will spend the night in nomad tents.

The next day in the morning after the breakfast in the camp, we will ride the camels to visit with nomad people and lunch with them. After relaxing and absorbing the hospitality, we will ride the camels back to the camp and leave them to rest. No rest for us though as its adventure time… we will take the sand boards and walk to the high dunes for some fun time. We will also visit an oasis in the dunes and back to the camp after the sunset. The next day in morning we will ride the camels back to Merzouga after the sunrise, and you'll have the breakfast and shower in the hotel in Merzouga.
